Safety attentions

 

1. It is installed on a non-flammable metal frame to prevent the intrusion of dust, corrosive gases, conductive objects, liquids and flammable materials, and to maintain good heat dissipation conditions;

2. The driver is forbidden to withstand shocks;

3. Do not connect the power input cable to the output U, V, or W terminals;

4. Verify that the input supply voltage of the main circuit is within the allowable operating voltage range of the drive;

5. Do not arbitrarily test the high voltage resistance and insulation performance of the driver;

6. According to the illustrated method, correctly connect the power cable, motor phase cable, Hall signal cable and control signal cable, and note that the sequence of UVW three phases must be consistent.

7. Please have a professional electrical engineer carry out the wiring operation;

8. Before wiring, please confirm that the input power supply should be cut off and the wiring and inspection must be carried out after the power supply is cut off and driver indicator is off.

9. When plugging and unplugging the terminal blocks of the driver, make sure the indicator light is off before proceeding

10. It is strictly forbidden to touch all terminals during power-on operation

11. If the sequence between Hall and 3 phases of the motor is incorrect or didn’t proceed the self-learning to match the hall and 3 phase of the motor, the motor cannot operate normally, and if the value of VSP/PWM input is too large, the driver will be damaged.

12. For long-term work, please put the controller in well-ventilated environment, and keep the heatsink and MOS tightly fitted;

 

Working Mode

The driver can work in two working modes, Hall sensored or Sensorless, during the driver power-on, the driver detects the Hall signal, if the Hall signal is not connected, or the Hall signal is faulty, the driver will work in the Hall no mode of operation. Otherwise, the drive works in Hall mode of operation.

When the driver is enabled, when the control signal is greater than the starting duty cycle (configured through the serial port), the driver starts to start, and when the control signal is lower than the starting duty cycle, the driver is in standby mode and the motor stops.

There are a total of 6 combination sequences for Hall signals Ha, Hb, and Hc, and one of them is the correct phase sequence. The correct phase sequence satisfies the following conditions:

(1) the forward and reverse rotational speed and power are approximately equal,

(2) the output power and current are normal during the gradual increase of the command to the maximum. Note: During the testing of the phase sequence, the power supply needs to have a current limit measure to avoid accidents.

This driver supports Hall signal sequence self-learning function, connect the power cable, Hall signal and control signal, serial port sends AA 01 1E 01 00 00 00 CC instructions, the driver performs Hall sensor signal sequence self-learning, LED flashes 13 times and turns off for 2 seconds to indicate that the learning Xi is completed, and the control instruction is zero, and it can work normally.

In Sensorless mode, the phase lines of the U, V, and W motors can be connected arbitrarily, and two of the phases can be exchanged arbitrarily, and the motor can be reversed, and the external F/R signal can also make the motor reverse. In sensorless mode, the F/R signal can be configured via the serial port to take effect immediately or when the motor is stopped.
